A
dog's world ...
For thousands of
years, dogs have lived as packs or families. When dogs began living
with humans, we became their families.
Within dogs’
families, each member has a standing and a role: top dog/boss, second
in line or watchdog, nurturer, greeter, healer, etc.
If something changes
within this structure, such as a new puppy coming home or someone becoming
seriously ill, dogs react.
You don’t
have to tell a dog that something has changed. Just as dogs pick up
smells far beyond what a human nose can detect, dogs are much more sensitive
to energy than most humans.
And all of our
emotions generate energy: anger, sadness, joy, fear, enthusiasm, anticipation.
Humans may not
understand or like a dog’s reactions to this emotional energy:
barking, chewing, digging.
Reiki can help
with these and other behaviors, as well as with physical ailments a
dog may have.
